Transportation

Airports
A small convenient airport is located in Monterey, just minutes from the Monterey Marriott. Shuttle service from the airport to the hotel is not provided. Cab fare from the Monterey Airport to the Marriott will run about $12.

In addition, two major international airports are located within driving distance in San Jose (about an hour and 15 minutes) and San Francisco (about two hours). These time calculations will depend on day of the week and time of day (commute traffic). If you decide to fly into San Jose or San Francisco, you can either:

Salinas/Monterey Airbus
$30 one way from San Jose; $40 one way from San Francisco. The following link will give you information on the Airbus schedule - http://www.montereyairbus.com/. The drop off spot for the airbus is approximately a block and a half from the hotel (within walking distance). However, you may take a taxi from this drop off location to the hotel if you wish.
