The
board of directors have agreed to enter into an agreement
naming Insight Public Sector a preferred vendor for
DISC Through this agreement, all dioceses of Canada
and the United States and their affiliates are eligible
to take advantage of discounts on products that Insight
sells. Insight gives Catholic entities volume pricing
that is offered to larger corporations for computer
hardware, peripherals, consumables and software. Insight
also has the capability of handling orders for Microsoft
software that is discounted and available for charitable
licensing and can advise you of what is needed to comply
with the various licensing requirements. The Insight
Public Sector web site http://www.ips.insight.com/disc shows
the general inventory of products and discount pricing
available. Customers can use the web site to place
orders online. |

In addition to general discounts,
Insight Public Sector and the DISC Board of Trustees
have arranged with
certain DISC partner companies for
special discounts. |

A
portion of the sales proceeds from purchases made through
this agreement goes to support D.I.S.C., allowing our
conference to keep membership dues low and to better
the Catholic Church. |
